Dates of meetings held
No formal meetings were held. The Editorial committee has worked virtually via email. Most correspondence has taken place between Curtis Rogers and Paul Lewis for web site updates.
Major outcomes produced by your committee in 2002 (items published, awards given, bylaws changed, actions taken, recommendations made or pending, etc.)
A revival and clarification of the use of the SCLA listserv has been quite successful. The Webmaster has created a prominent image link on the main page of the web site to bolster use and subscriptions to the listserv. Additionally, the SCLAexecs listserv was created as a discussion tool for executive committee members to electronically discuss the business of the organization.
The Chair made web site section assignments for committee members to periodically review for changes, corrections, etc. When committee members found items that needed updating, changing, etc., they reported them to me and/or the SCLA Webmaster, Paul Lewis.
The Chair has been in constant contact with the Webmaster to make suggestions, changes, editorial comments, etc.
The Chair and Webmaster have worked closely to create the SCL/SELA 2002 Conference photo albums available at http://www.scla.org/gallery/
Major plans for 2003
- Reassign web page sections to committee members.
- Create a print newsletter from 2002 conference reports and mail to all members.
- Continue working closely with the Webmaster on web site content.
