<div align="left" style="text-align:left;"><font face="Century Gothic" size="+0" color="#000000" style="font-family:Century Gothic;font-size:10pt;color:#000000;">The Archives Institute is a basic archival education workshop sponsored by the South Carolina State Historical Records Advisory Board (SC SHRAB). This three day workshop, which is funded by the National Historical Publications and Records Committee (NHPRC) will introduce basic archival practices and standards or Archives 101 skills.</font></div>

Using lecture and hands-on activities, this course will delve into archival aspects such as policies and procedures, preservation, and disaster planning and recovery. </font></div>
