Documents Branch (GDB). The GDB manages the depository system for NC agency
produced publications and the digital State Publications Collection. The
position will work to identify agency staff involved in publishing/managing
publications and/or working with digitization projects and digital
preservation; conduct information gathering interviews to learn what is
currently being published in digital and print formats by agencies, and to
understand each agency’s digital preservation and digitization plans and needs;
participate in the development of workshops and training sessions, and the
creation of training materials focusing on digital preservation and
digitization projects; create marketing materials; assist in developing,
compiling and evaluating an annual survey; participate in policy and standards
development; regularly review and analyze results from the Internet Archive-It
web capture service.</span> <br>
